About Real Wedding Moments
I spend most of the day just hanging back and blending in, so you can actually enjoy your own wedding. I do not follow a strict checklist, but I do make sure I am in the right place for the major rituals and those quick, quiet smiles between you and your partner. If you look closely at my work, you will see I prefer natural light over heavy artificial setups whenever possible.
People often worry that hiring a photographer means standing in line for hours for group shots. That is not how I work. My approach to your wedding photography is to let the day happen. I am there to capture the chaos, the laughter during the sangeet, the focus during the pheras, and the relief at the vidai.
What goes into these moments:
- Ritual Focus: I know the wedding flow. Whether it is a traditional ceremony or a modern reception, I stay close to the rituals without getting in the way.
- Candid over Posed: Posed photos are fine, but the real memories are in the in-between moments. A glance, a touch, a shared joke with your bridesmaids. That is what I look for.
- Lighting and Mood: I use full-frame cameras with prime lenses to keep the look soft and natural. Even in dimly lit banquet halls, I find the right angles to keep the emotions clear.
If you are wondering about the timeline, I usually arrive early to cover the final getting-ready touches. This is when the best, most relaxed shots happen before the guests arrive. From there, I move with the family through the procession to the final rituals. My goal is for you to look back at your album in five years and feel the exact same emotions you felt on the day.
