About Wildlife Photography

What I Do

Wildlife is my thing, and my camera is always ready. I go where the animals are, whether it's a busy wetland in Gujarat or deep forest in Uttarakhand. My work is all about showing real wildlife moments - especially birds. My bird photography in India is what people know me for, but I don't stop there. Mammals, reptiles, even insects - if it's wild, I'm interested.

How I Work

  • I love getting up close for intimate portraits, where you can see the eyes and attitude of my subjects.
  • Freezing fast action - like a bird mid-flight or a leopard on the move - is something I chase every weekend.
  • I always try to frame animals in their actual, messy, beautiful natural habitat. No fake backdrops here.
  • Light is everything. I plan my shots for early mornings or late afternoons, when the sun makes everything look golden.

Hey, I’m Gaurav. Honestly, I’m just a guy who loves wild places and animals, camera in hand. My adventures have taken me from Indian jungles to Europe and Bhutan – chasing those quiet moments, like an owl’s stare or a kingfisher’s splash. Sure, my photos made it to The Times Of India a bunch of times, but for me, it’s all about telling the animal’s story, not collecting awards.
