Art is my life, and dance is how I breathe. These are the snapshots, quiet reflections, and portraits that capture my journey as a performance artist beyond the stage.

A black and white portrait from a remote photography session. A reminder to say no to mediocrity and love yourself.

A moment of reflection paired with a beautiful quote from Kahlil Gibran about life and love. Poetry and philosophy are constant sources of inspiration for my movement.

Dance like there's no tomorrow! A candid shot of me, filled with intoxicated love-energy. This is my wish for the world: to dance unabashedly for your soul.

A mood. Celebrating freedom from quarantine with a little dance in my room in Japan. These are the travelogues of a dancer.

A sneaky peek from our first music and dance video cover. This shows the more stylized and conceptual side of my work.

Part two of a quiet moment in Ueno, Japan. A reminder to just move and let go of anxiety, and to have faith that new opportunities will come.

"Look, and thy shall find." A playful moment with a mirror, dressed as a Flamenca.

A flyer for an Instagram Live conversation I had about my journey as an international dancer, actor, and lifestyle coach. I enjoy sharing my story and inspiring others.

A fun remote photography session playing with red and blue lights. This was my way of celebrating Women's Day, exploring different personas through light and color.

"Shhh." Another portrait from a creative black and white session, playing with expression and character.

About Behind the Art: Portraits & Moments

These portraits are a part of my movement journal, capturing the silence between the beats. Many people only see the final performance, but these images show the experimentation, the solitude, and the light I play with before stepping into a studio to teach. This is where I practice the vulnerability that I hope my students bring to our own dance sessions together.
