Safe Sebaceous Cyst Excision and Removal

About Sebaceous Cyst Excision
If you have a lump that keeps swelling, draining it at home is not a solution. The cyst will return because the sac remains under your skin. My approach involves a precise, sterile excision under local anesthesia to remove the entire sac, which is the only way to permanently fix the issue.
Many patients come to me having tried to squeeze or drain a cyst themselves. This is risky and often leads to infection, inflammation, or scarring. A sebaceous cyst requires a surgical approach to ensure the capsule or 'root' is fully taken out. Without removing the sac, the cyst will almost certainly fill up again.

- Local Anesthesia: We numb the area thoroughly so you feel no pain during the excision.
- Precision Removal: I make a small, precise incision to remove the entire cyst intact.
- Suturing: The area is closed with fine, medical-grade stitches to ensure proper healing and minimal scarring.
Recovery and Safety
This is a standard outpatient procedure. You can walk out of the clinic immediately after the removal is finished. I provide clear instructions on how to keep the area dry and clean to prevent any infection. You will need to return to the clinic in 5 to 7 days for a quick, painless stitch removal. This follow-up is critical for the best cosmetic result and long-term skin health.
