Using precision microneedling and Dermapen technology to stimulate collagen, fade scars, and refine skin texture at my clinic.

Here I am performing a Dermapen microneedling treatment, followed by an Uber Pro Peel. This combination is effective for addressing acne scars, improving hydration, correcting blemishes, and minimizing pores.

Dermapen microneedling is a safe and effective non-surgical solution for skin rejuvenation. It stimulates collagen production and enhances overall skin texture by addressing various skin concerns.

This video shows a Micro-Needle Radiofrequency (MNRF) treatment for acne scars. The procedure combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to enhance collagen remodeling and improve skin texture.

The Dermapen4 is a microneedling device I use to address pigmentation. It boosts collagen and skin renewal, targets dark spots, and is customizable and safe for all skin types with minimal downtime.

This is a Dermapen with Bright Light treatment, designed to achieve smooth, radiant, and glowing skin. The procedure targets dullness and uneven texture to promote a brighter complexion.

I use the Dermapen Dp4 for painless microneedling to address acne scars, fine lines, and dull skin. This minimally invasive treatment boosts collagen and provides a fresh, glowing complexion.

This video demonstrates the process of a Dermapen DP4 Bright Light treatment. It involves needling strokes to stimulate the skin, followed by a professional mask to soothe and enhance results for a more even-toned complexion.

About this collection

Microneedling is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. I use the medical-grade Dermapen4 system, which allows me to adjust needle depth and speed precisely based on whether we are treating superficial acne scars, enlarged pores, or uneven pigmentation. This level of customization ensures we trigger a controlled healing response in the deeper dermal layers without causing unnecessary surface trauma.

Understanding the Science of Skin Renewal

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, works on a straightforward principle: by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, we force the body to repair those injuries by producing new collagen and elastin. This is the foundation of skin rejuvenation. It is effective for textural issues because it addresses the problem at the dermal level, rather than just exfoliating the surface.

My Approach to Microneedling

I personally perform all microneedling sessions using either the Dermapen4 or Micro-Needle Radiofrequency (MNRF) devices, depending on the severity of the acne scars or pigmentation.

  • Dermapen4: This is my primary tool for general skin renewal and brightening. It is fast, safe for all skin types, and allows for very specific depth control, which is essential for treating delicate areas like the under-eye region or the nose.
  • MNRF (Micro-Needle Radiofrequency): For deeper, pitted acne scars, I often recommend MNRF. This device combines the mechanical effect of microneedling with radiofrequency energy, which heats the deeper tissue to further stimulate contraction and remodeling of the scar tissue.

What to Expect

You might experience mild redness and heat immediately after the session, similar to a sunburn, which typically settles within 24 to 48 hours. I always apply a recovery mask and medical-grade sunscreen immediately post-procedure.

Key Considerations

  • Not a Single-Session Fix: Significant texture improvement, particularly for deep acne scars, usually requires a series of sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
  • Skin Barrier Health: I will only perform this treatment if your skin barrier is healthy. If you are experiencing an active breakout or severe inflammation, we will prioritize clearing that first.
  • Preparation: Avoid retinoids or strong actives 5 days before your appointment to prevent excessive sensitivity.
