About Skin Boosters for Hydration & Glow
When you book a skin booster session, you are not getting a quick fix that fades in a week. We take 45 to 60 minutes to map your skin hydration levels and then use ultra-fine needles to deliver high-grade Hyaluronic Acid exactly where your skin needs it most. You will notice a subtle, healthy dewiness settling in within a few days, but the real benefit is how your skin quality improves over the following weeks as the product integrates.
How Skin Boosters Work
Unlike traditional fillers that are designed to change facial structure, skin boosters act as deep hydrators. They are made of non-crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid, which pulls moisture into the skin, improving texture, elasticity, and firmness. My Treatment Protocol
Every session at The Skin Talk Clinic begins with a thorough assessment.
- Consultation & Mapping: I personally identify your skin's hydration gaps and mark BAP (Bio-Aesthetic Points) or dynamic lines to ensure optimal diffusion.
- The Procedure: I use a high-strength numbing cream 30-40 minutes before starting, making the process comfortable. We use 29G or 30G ultra-fine needles to minimize trauma.
- Product Selection: I select the specific HA product based on your skin needs. Profhilo is excellent for tightening and firming, while Viscoderm Hydrobooster is my go-to for improving the appearance of dynamic lines and overall skin quality.
Aftercare & Recovery
Because these are minimally invasive, you can return to your day quite quickly. I advise avoiding heavy makeup and intense gym sessions for the first 24 hours to let the injection sites settle. You may notice some small bumps, which typically resolve within a day. We finish with a soothing antibiotic or arnica gel application to manage any minor tenderness.
I recommend a follow-up for most patients to ensure the hydration boost is meeting your expectations, as skin health is a continuous process, not a one-time event.
