As a trichologist, I believe in empowering my patients with knowledge. In this talk on Hair Cosmetics at the DASIL World Congress, I break down how to choose the right shampoos, conditioners, and cosmetic treatments based on science, not marketing hype.

A common myth I often address is that oiling helps with dandruff. In fact, the fungus that causes dandruff feeds on oil, so applying it can make the condition worse. For a healthy scalp, it's best to use medicated treatments for dandruff and save oiling for when your scalp is clear.

I was honored to speak about Cosmetic Trichology at the ROOTS-VI national conference. My presentation focused on the science of hair care, providing fellow dermatologists with insights into diagnosing complex hair and scalp conditions.

It was a privilege to be introduced at Korea Derma 2024. My work extends beyond vitiligo to include deep expertise in hair and aesthetic medicine, allowing me to provide comprehensive dermatological care.

During a presentation at the DASIL Congress, I used clinical images to explain the nuances of hair and scalp conditions. A correct diagnosis is the first step toward an effective treatment plan for issues like hair fall and scalp irritation.

I was truly humbled to receive this award at the Aesthetics 2024 conference. This recognition fuels my passion for contributing to the field of dermatology and providing the best possible care for my patients.

Treating keloids on the face and neck requires a delicate, precise approach. This patient had a prominent keloid along his jawline. We used a combination therapy to carefully flatten and soften the scar tissue over a few sessions, significantly improving its appearance and texture.
This was a challenging case of extensive and hard keloids on the chest and arm. I created a multi-step treatment plan using intralesional injections and fractional CO2 laser to break down the tough scar tissue. The 'after' photo shows a significant flattening and reduction, making the skin much smoother and more comfortable for the patient.
