This is what happens when we just decide to play with fire, literally. This conceptual shoot, which we call 'benki', is all about capturing raw power and intensity. It takes a great team and a brave model to pull off something this dramatic, and it's one of my favorite styles to shoot.
Here’s a shot of KGF actor Tarak Ponnappa. For this actor portfolio session, we used the textures of a Bangalore alley to create a rugged yet sophisticated look. It’s about finding the perfect backdrop that complements the subject's personality.
A portrait of the wonderful actress Radhika Narayan. I used soft, focused lighting here to create a classic, elegant mood that highlights her grace. It’s moments like these, where the lighting and the person just click, that make photography so rewarding.
An urban fashion shoot right in the heart of Bangalore. We used the bold architecture of the Puma storefront to create a modern, high-energy fashion shot. This shows how we can turn any city spot into a dynamic backdrop for your brand or portfolio.
This is a glamour saree photoshoot where we played with shadows and light to create a dramatic, almost painterly effect. The goal was to make the rich purple of the silk saree pop while giving the portrait a timeless, regal feel.
Sometimes the best shots are the most relaxed ones. This was a candid moment captured during an outdoor lifestyle shoot, showing that a great portrait can be as simple as a genuine smile. This is the kind of natural, easygoing energy I love to capture.
Inspired by the iconic Dabboo Ratnani calendar, this was a creative concept shoot using just a banana leaf. It’s a bold, artistic style that pushes creative boundaries and is perfect for models looking to build a unique and daring portfolio.
A fun, retro-themed shot with actress Rachana Inder. We used a vintage telephone prop and a classic peacock chair to build a specific mood. Concept shoots like this are a collaborative effort to bring a creative vision to life.
This is more valuable to me than any picture. Getting a handwritten note like this from actress Radhika Narayan after our shoot is the reason I do what I do. It’s all about creating a great experience and memories, not just photos.

About Fashion & Portrait Photography

The Vibe Is Everything

I’m Karthik, and honestly, I believe the best photos happen when everyone’s chill and having a good time. I’m not one for fancy words or perfect captions (Google is my bestie for that), but I do know how to freeze a moment that means something. If you want your shoot to feel less like work and more like hanging out, I’m your guy.

Experience With Sandalwood & Real People

I’ve shot with folks from Kannada Film Industry - Radhika Narayan, Tarak Ponnappa, Rachana Inder. Getting a handwritten note from one of them saying our shoot was “D’lite’ful” - that’s the kind of stuff that keeps me going. But really, you don’t have to be a celebrity. If you’re from Sandalwood or just want killer pictures, I’m up for it.

Choose Your Style, Own Your Shoot

No cookie-cutter stuff here. If you need actor portfolio photography, we’ll plan headshots and lifestyle shots that actually show your vibe. For urban fashion shoot Bangalore, we can hit up Church Street or wherever you feel matches your style. Want glamour saree photoshoot or something totally wild? I’m game. Concept shoots like benki (fire) themes or retro looks are my jam.

Lights, Locations, Crew

Lighting is my secret sauce. We can play with natural light outdoors or go dramatic in the studio. Locations? Bangalore’s got everything from gritty walls, cute cafes, to full-on studios. My team (makeup, hair, designers) know their stuff - we’re in it together so you look and feel awesome.

Let’s make memories, not just pictures.

My Story

Hey, I’m Karthik - Dlite Photography is just me, my camera, and a bunch of memories. Bangalore is home, and every shoot is a team vibe; makeup artists, assistants, actors, all bringing their own crazy energy. Once Radhika Narayan wrote me a sweet note, called my work 'D'lite'ful'. That autograph sits on my desk, reminds me why I do this. Sometimes I get inspired by Van Gogh, sometimes a Kannada poem. Ninna nenapugale haage geleya... (Your memories are like that, my friend...) - that’s what I chase with every click.
