My Professional Credentials and Dermatological Expertise
I believe in full transparency. When it comes to your skin and hair, knowing exactly who is treating you is the first step toward safety and success.
It was an honor to be a faculty member at the 8th DAAS Summit. Engaging with esteemed colleagues and discussing the future of dermatology and allied specialities helps me bring the best practices and innovations back to my patients.
About My Professional Credentials
Being a board-certified dermatologist means I have completed years of rigorous medical training, including an MBBS and an MD from Safdarjung Hospital, followed by years of clinical practice. This is not just about a degree on the wall, but about the thousands of hours spent diagnosing complex skin conditions and managing complications that quick-fix treatments often cause. When you sit in my clinic, you get medical decisions based on clinical evidence and peer-reviewed protocols, not trends from social media.
The aesthetics industry is unregulated in many ways, which is why I am vocal about the difference between a real dermatologist and a self-styled skin expert. My background is rooted in traditional medicine. I spent my formative years training at Safdarjung Hospital, one of the busiest and most challenging clinical environments in India. That experience taught me how to handle adverse events, understand anatomy, and prioritize patient safety above all else.
My commitment to medicine does not end with my degree. I regularly participate in national forums like the Dermatology and Allied Specialities (DAAS) Summit as faculty. These interactions with colleagues help me stay updated on new protocols, emerging research, and safety standards. If there is a new way to treat a condition more effectively or safely, I am usually among the first to know about it.
When we discuss a procedure in my Soami Nagar clinic, you can be sure that the plan is built on science. I do not recommend treatments because they are popular on Instagram. I recommend them because they are proven to work and because I know how to manage the risks involved. Your skin is your body's largest organ. Treating it requires more than a steady hand. It requires a deep understanding of its function, health, and biology. Whether you are coming in for hair restoration or anti-aging treatments, you are getting the benefit of a medical professional who puts science first.
