Akhyāt – Ākhyānā: Narratives of the Unheard

This ongoing series gives voice to powerful female poets across history. We explore themes of desire, faith, and activism through the words of women like Andal, Akka Mahadevi, and Amrapali, creating custom repertoires that feel both ancient and urgent.

Reimagining the Margam

I love exploring the boundaries of the traditional Bharatanatyam margam. This is where we take classic formats like the Varnam, Javali, or Thillana and infuse them with new texts, modern sensibilities, and fresh choreographic ideas.

Preyasi: Radha in Love

An exploration of love through Jayadeva's epic Gita Govindam. This work delves into the many moods of Radha, portraying her not just in separation but as a powerful, proactive figure on a conquest for love.

The Creative Process

My choreography is a deeply collaborative journey. Here is a look behind the scenes at our process of research, musical creation, and studio rehearsals where ideas are born and stories take shape.

Workshops, Awards & Features

I am grateful for the opportunities to share my process through workshops and for the recognition my work has received. This is also where I feature collaborations and press mentions that have been part of my journey.
