These aren't random items; they’re goods I personally use and trust. Whether it's a specific hair mist from Dubai or a sturdy handbag I spotted on a trip to Auckland, I only open orders for goods that pass my 'tahan lasak' (durable) test. Since my luggage space is super limited, I can only bring back a small batch per trip.

When I travel for work, I treat every city like a treasure hunt. My goal is to find high-quality barang (items) that are either unavailable back home or significantly cheaper than local retail prices.

How my travel-based shopping works

I don’t keep stock in a warehouse in Malaysia. Every item you see here is a result of my personal roster. When I know my flight schedule, I announce the destination and open pre-order slots. Once those slots are filled, I close the order to ensure I can manage the logistics in my luggage. This system keeps prices low because I’m cutting out the middleman and shopping like a local.

What I look for

I focus on three things:

• Quality: If it’s not durable, I don’t buy it.
• Value: It has to be cheaper than what you’d pay at a retail store in KL.
• Uniqueness: I love finding specific items, like the Ana Abiyedh hair mists or leather goods that are classic but hard to find online.

If you see something you like, don't wait for the next trip. If I have a flight coming up, that’s your window to secure the item. Keep an eye on my announcements—when the slots are gone, they’re gone until I’m rostered to that destination again.
