Authentic Dubai Abayas
I personally select every piece from local Dubai hubs during my travels. From everyday elegant styles to heavy-beaded glam, here is what I have found.
A beautiful selection of modest abayas on display, showcasing a variety of colours from beige and mauve to teal and navy. Each features unique detailing, perfect for finding a style that suits you.
Here you can see three distinct abaya styles side by side. From a black lace overlay to a dusty rose piece with floral embroidery, the variety in Dubai is amazing.
This video shows the beautiful movement and intricate silver beading of a sheer, cream coloured abaya. It's this level of detail and quality that I look for on my sourcing trips.
A close up of a pleated lilac abaya with exquisite leaf pattern beadwork on the sleeve. This is a great example of a more glamorous, 'glam' piece perfect for special occasions.
The sleeve details on these dark navy abayas are incredible. One features a climbing vine of black beads, while the other has a more abstract floral beadwork design.
For those who love a bold statement, this black abaya with heavy gold embroidery is a showstopper. Next to it is another piece with a geometric black and white pattern.
A closer look at the stunning gold floral embroidery on a black abaya. This is a truly luxurious piece, sourced directly from a trusted 'kedai' in Dubai.
These three piece abaya sets come with an inner dress and a sheer outer layer with delicate patterns. Available in soft green, brown, and grey, they offer a complete, coordinated modest look.
A collection of open front abayas in neutral tones like beige, olive green, and navy. These versatile pieces can be layered easily and feature subtle vertical beading and tassel details.

About Authentic Dubai Abayas
These aren't mass-produced imports. I personally visit the souqs and local workshops, checking fabric flow and beadwork quality myself. Before you decide, consider the length—standard Dubai cuts run from 52 to 60 inches—and whether you want a cooling Nida fabric for daily comfort or a structured Crepe for special occasions.
How My Sourcing Works
I only purchase items when I am rostered to fly into Dubai. I head straight to wholesale hubs like Naif Souq to find pieces that are 'berbaloi' (worth it). Because I buy based on specific trip rosters, my inventory changes every time I travel. If you see a piece you like, grab it while the order window is open.
Material and Fabric Quality
- Nida: This is my go-to for daily wear. It is cooling, flowy, and high-quality, making it perfect for our weather.
- Zoom & Crepe: I select these when you need something with more structure. They hold intricate embroidery and beading patterns very well.
What You Get
Most of my sets are 3-piece: the Abaya (outer garment), a matching Sheila (headscarf), and a belt for an adjustable waist.
- Everyday Tiers: These feature solid colours like mauve, sage, or black, with subtle piping or lace trim. They are simple, clean, and elegant.
- Premium Tiers: These are the showstoppers. I look for pieces with heavy floral embroidery, intricate beadwork, and stone embellishments.
My quality check is simple: if I wouldn't wear it, I won't sell it. Confirm, these are the best quality finds from the source.
Moure
I'm Bella, and I don't just sell abayas—I hunt for the ones I'd actually wear myself. My service is simple: I only shop when I'm rostered in Dubai, so you get pieces straight from the source without the retail markup.
