Real stories from our trekking community
These are not just reviews. They are stories from our regular trekkers who have joined us for everything from Western Ghats weekend hikes to high-altitude expeditions.
Listen to what one of our regular trekkers has to say. She talks about the safe and comfortable experience at Kyathanamakki View Point. For me, ensuring everyone feels safe and gets a homely feel is the most important part of any trip.
This video from our Ladakh trip includes a short thank you from one of the members. Hearing that the group had a great journey after reaching a challenging destination like Umlingla Pass is the best reward.
About Hear From Our Travel Fam
When we say 'homely feel', it is about the small things: a hot meal at the peak, a birthday surprise, or just knowing that even if you are 19,000 feet up at Umling La, you have a support crew that has your back. It is about the people who show up, not just the itinerary.
After 12 years of trekking, camping, and riding across our naadu and the Himalayas, the feedback we value most is not about the logistics—it is about the comfort level. Whether it is a quick trek near Kyathanamakki or a 10-day expedition to Ladakh, our goal is to eliminate the stress of planning so you can actually enjoy the chaarana (trekking) and suttata (wandering).
Why our community keeps coming back
- Real support at altitude: When we take 33 riders to Umling La, we do not just point at the map. We include prep sessions, oxygen support, and a mechanic backup vehicle because safety is not optional.
- Inclusive culture: We do not cater to dabblers. We build groups for people who want a serious adventure but crave a family vibe. You will find that our batches are a mix of new faces and regulars who have done 5 or more trips with us.
- All-inclusive means all-inclusive: From permits for Bhutan to camping gear for Chandratal Lake, we handle the permits, the food, and the stay. You pack your bag, and we handle the rest.
We keep the tone informal and the information direct. No corporate buzzwords, just the gear, the route, and the company. If you are looking for a group that feels like a bunch of friends heading out for a trip rather than a tour operator, you will fit right in.
