About Modern Draped & Concept Sarees
My draped saree sets are built for movement, featuring pre-stitched pleats and corset-style blouses with built-in padding. Because the drape is engineered into the skirt, you get the dramatic look of a traditional saree without the need for manual pleating or constant safety pins, allowing you to walk, dance, and host with total confidence.
Precision in Fusion
My work centers on the balance between old-school grace and new-age functionality. When I construct these pieces, I use fabrics like satin, organza, and crepe because they hold a shape while remaining light enough to wear for hours at a sangeet, cocktail party, or wedding reception.
Each set features:
- Adda Work: I focus my hand-embellishment on the corset blouse necklines and waist belts, using sequins, cut-dana, and bugle beads to catch the light without adding unnecessary weight.
- Corset Structure: To ensure the blouse fits perfectly, I include medium-quality padding and light boning in the construction.
- Fit and Adjustment: While these are ready-to-wear, I include 2-3 inches of margin inside each blouse. If you visit my studio in Sector 64, Noida, we can ensure the fit is precise before you take it home.
Styling and Selection
Whether you are looking for a dhoti-saree, a ruffle-tiered drape, or a sleek, minimal satin number, the focus is always on creating a silhouette that feels like your own. I design these as two-piece sets so you can eventually pair the blouse with a different skirt or the drape skirt with a jacket from my other collections.
Ordering and Production
My standard production timeline for these sets is 15 to 20 days. If you have an event coming up, I recommend placing your order early to account for any minor adjustments. I ship across India, but if you want the full experience, I invite you to my studio for a personal try-on session.
