Varshik Utsav: Our Annual Grand Showcase
This is our largest and most awaited production of the year, a culmination of months of dedicated sadhana by our students and us. We present a variety of new and traditional choreographies, from grand group performances to intricate thematic pieces, all accompanied by a live orchestra to create a complete artistic experience.
Tarkash: Nurturing the Next Generation
Tarkash, meaning a quiver of arrows, is our unique platform designed to showcase the solo potential of our students. In this series, young dancers (ages 13-18) are given the challenge and opportunity to present their first full solo Kathak performance on stage, accompanied by live musicians, an essential part of their training.
Thematic Choreographies & Festival Performances
We specialize in creating and directing full-fledged thematic productions for a variety of stages, from national festivals to specially commissioned events. These choreographies are built on authentic storytelling, original music, and the pure techniques of the Lucknow Gharana, suitable for both large auditoriums and intimate venues.
The Gurus: Lineage & Mastery
At the heart of our parampara are the Gurus, Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj and Smt. Ruby Mishra. This section offers a glimpse into their solo performances, their 'baithaki bhaav' sessions, and the moments where they pass on the sacred 'taalim' of the Lucknow Gharana, embodying the timeless Guru-Shishya tradition.
Behind the Scenes: Our Sadhana
A performance is born out of countless hours of 'riyaaz' (practice), discipline, and the sacred Guru-Shishya relationship. This collection offers a rare, unfiltered look into our rehearsal halls, where concepts are developed, movements are perfected, and the true 'sadhana' of Kathak takes place.
