My Musical DNA
I’ve always felt that the best way to understand an artist is to hear what they produce when no one is watching. My radio shows and studio work are where I experiment. Whether I am featuring on Hong Kong Community Radio or releasing my own tracks like 'Rumors are Loud', I am blending sounds that usually don't belong together.
The Process
My approach to production is simple: if it feels real, it stays. I am influenced by everyone from Donna Summer and Nicolas Jaar to the gritty industrial sounds that keep me up at night. My mixes are a collision of genres—Techno, House, Disco, and Funk—held together by the feeling of oneness.
- Radio Features: My work with HKCR and other platforms allows me to stretch my legs. I use these sets to play hardgroove, trance, and experimental rhythms that might not fit a standard club slot.
- Original Productions: When I am in the studio, I am trying to capture the energy of a dance floor in a single track. 'Rumors are Loud' was my way of taking retro disco vibes and adding a sharp, modern edge.
