About Adventure Skills Training & Courses
Learn Adventure, BASCOOL Style
I’m all about teaching you how to adventure the right way, not just taking you on a quick trip. At BASCOOL, you get the skills to be a self-sufficient explorer, building what I call your ‘Adventure Quotient’. My first rule is always safety - out in the wild, you’re the first responder. So I make sure you know proper techniques, safety basics, and even train you in things like basic life support.
What You’ll Learn
- Waterfall rappelling skills: We go deep into canyoning and rappelling - real hands-on stuff, not just a quick selfie. We hit spots in Meghalaya, Wayanad, and Bangalore. It’s raw, sometimes wet, always thrilling.
- Trekking with wilderness survival techniques: If you’re tired of busy trails, I’ll help you find actual wilderness. You’ll learn real navigation, using satellite maps, and how to prep yourself - mentally and physically. On the trail, I keep it real. Expect me to yell “ji talena mundu light-aagi” (just move your head forward) or “chalo chalo!” (let’s go!) when you need it.
- Caving safety tips: Caving is wild - imagine crawling through spaces that feel totally alien. You’ll learn how to move safely, appreciate weird geology, and yes, sometimes get messy. We explore caves from Bangalore to the sparkling Mayavi caves.
- Rope management: Rappelling is the foundation. From dry rock practice to wild overhangs, I teach you skills you’ll actually use.

My Story
We’re Bangalore Adventure School, but most folks call us BASCOOL. For us, adventure means wild places, not tourist spots. We’ve found canyons no one’s seen, sat with farmers like Rajesh who showed us sericulture, and tasted silkworms cooked by Kong Thran in Meghalaya – real local style. We love seeing people learn, wear our BASCOOL tee, and call themselves proud grads. Outdoors should be for everyone. That’s what makes it worth it.
