City Oases: Balcony & Terrace Gardens
Transform your urban balcony or terrace into a lush, green sanctuary. I design functional, thriving garden setups tailored to your specific sunlight and space constraints.
Minimalist yet magnificent. For this balcony, we created a gorgeous pair of statement planters, each with a mix of colorful and textured foliage to add interest without clutter.
A close-up look at a tropical-themed balcony. I used large, textured pots to house ferns and other lush plants, creating a rich, green corner that feels like a mini-vacation.
Green but make it clean. This Gurgaon balcony features a variety of foliage, including colorful Crotons, Philodendrons, and the iconic Monstera, all neatly arranged in modern planter boxes.
Nothing beats a lush terrace during the monsoon. We used white planter boxes to line this terrace with a mix of flowering plants like Bougainvillea and Ixora, adding greenery without taking up floor space.
A floral cluster is always a good idea for a balcony. Here, we grouped different flowering and foliage plants like the Traveller's Palm in simple grey pots to create a beautiful, layered look.
This long apartment balcony is now a thriving garden. We used a series of large planters to create a continuous line of greenery, featuring a mix of Traveller's Palms, Champa, and flowering vines.
Welcome to the apartment garden. This project included a full balcony setup with lush planters and even a beautiful indoor plant corner to bring the greenery inside.
A throwback to this sleek and stylish Gurgaon balcony. Our signature planter boxes with custom iron stands are perfect for creating a lush look with plants like Alocasia and Spider Plants.
A glimpse of a luxury apartment project at DLF Camellias. We used large, fragrant Champas and Muraiyas in lightweight polymer pots to create a high-end, beautiful balcony garden.

About City Oases: Balcony & Terrace Gardens
I don't just dump pots in a corner. I look at your balcony's specific sunlight, wind patterns, and structural load before picking a single plant. If a plant choice won't survive your specific spot, I will tell you straight so you don't waste time or money on something that won't last.
Gardening in a city like Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida comes with challenges, mainly space and light. My goal with every balcony and terrace project is to solve those problems while keeping it looking good.
Why I Focus on Practicality
A garden that needs constant maintenance is not a garden, it is a chore. I prioritize hardy, high-impact plants that handle our city climate well. I use FRP planters because they are lightweight enough for high-rise balconies, weather-resistant, and won't crack or fade under the harsh sun.
My Step-by-Step Setup
- The Site Visit: I always start here. I need to see your balcony’s footprint, check the drainage points, and measure the sunlight. It helps me avoid common mistakes like planting sun-loving bougainvillea in a dark, shaded corner.
- Drainage & Soil: One of the biggest mistakes in balcony gardening is poor drainage. We layer the base of your pots with gravel and use a custom blend of garden soil, cocopeat, and vermicompost. This keeps your plants healthy without creating a mess or causing root rot.
- The Layout: Whether it is a minimalist, clean look with straight lines of Areca Palms or a lush, tropical mix with Champa and ferns, I plan the placement so you still have floor space to sit and enjoy the view.
- Handover: We don't just leave you with a bunch of pots. We set everything up, clean the area, and I walk you through the watering and care schedule before we head out.
From a tiny apartment balcony to a sprawling terrace, I treat every space as a blank canvas. Let’s stop looking at that grey, empty space and turn it into your own little green paradise.
