Featured Mehendi Designs: Story-Driven Art for Every Occasion
Welcome to my portfolio. From intricate baby shower storytelling to personalized groom designs, these are some of my favorite ways to turn your special moments into lasting mehendi art.
This full-arm baby shower mehendi is one of my favorites. I included a portrait of the happy couple, a calendar marking the due date, and sweet baby motifs to tell their unique story as they wait for their little one.
For this Karwa Chauth design, we got creative. On one hand, a wife waits for the moon, and on the other, I drew a cricket jersey with her husband's name and favorite number. It’s a perfect example of how I blend tradition with personal touches.
A beautiful engagement mehendi featuring classic motifs. I used love birds, elephants, and peacocks to symbolize love and prosperity, creating a rich, full-arm design perfect for a bride-to-be.
Sometimes, less is more. This minimalistic mehendi shows how a simple, elegant design can make a big impact. It features a central lotus mandala with delicate patterns on the fingers, perfect for any occasion.
Mehendi is for grooms too. This design was for an engagement, featuring the couple's initials 'YD' on one palm and engagement rings with their special date on the other. It's a wonderful way for the groom to celebrate the occasion.
The final stain is everything. This photo shows the beautiful, deep reddish-brown color of my natural henna after the paste has been removed. I take great pride in using high-quality paste that gives you a perfect, long-lasting stain.
I feel honored to create mehendi for sacred occasions like a Jain Diksha ceremony. This design incorporates auspicious symbols like the Shankh (conch), Kalash, and lotus, each holding deep spiritual meaning for the path of vairagya.
For those who love a grand, traditional look, I create heavy, intricate designs like this one. It's filled with classic Rajasthani elements like royal elephants, peacocks, and detailed jharokha patterns covering the hands and arms.
About Featured
If you are looking for more than just a standard pattern, I specialize in storytelling mehendi. Whether it is a calendar marking your baby’s due date, your husband’s cricket jersey number, or a couple’s portrait, I work with you to sketch these details directly into the design before I start the final application. It takes a little extra planning, but it makes the henna truly yours.
My work isn't just about covering hands; it’s about capturing a moment. Whether you’re a bride-to-be in Mumbai or planning a festive celebration, my approach is built on two things: natural, deep-staining henna and meaningful customization.
Customization & Storytelling
For baby showers, I enjoy incorporating details like cribs or due-date calendars. For engagements, I love finding a way to fit a couple's story—like their wedding hashtag or a significant date—into the palm or wrist area. It turns a traditional practice into a personal keepsake.
My Process
I use a homemade organic henna paste infused with eucalyptus and clove oil, which is why you’ll often see that signature rich, dark stain in my photos. Every design, from heavy traditional bridal to minimalist festival motifs, receives the same attention to detail.
Booking Details
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Because I create custom, story-driven art, I recommend booking in advance, especially if you have a complex request that requires me to draft the design beforehand. Please reach out with your date and a rough idea of what you are looking for so we can get started.
