About Fitness Tips & Know-How
Before you jump on the treadmill, check your target heart rate. Our trainers often see members pushing too hard or too little for their specific goals. Whether you are recovering or aiming for endurance, we help you find the sweet spot, that 40 to 60 percent zone for low impact recovery or 70 to 85 percent for high intensity work, using your own heart rate data to make every minute in the gym count.
Knowing how to move is just as important as showing up. At our Sector 22 club, we treat every member like family, which means we want you to train smart, not just hard.
Science backed movement
Fitness isn't one-size-fits-all. Our coaches focus on 'regressions'—modifying exercises so beginners can learn the proper form before progressing to advanced movements. If you're new to incline push-ups or step-ups, we don't just point to the machine and leave. We guide you on exactly how to perform the movement safely to prevent injury and maximize your muscle engagement.
Why 'Anytime Fun' matters
Consistency is the hardest part of any journey. Many members struggle with motivation when they feel like they are doing it alone or doing it wrong. By focusing on proper technique and setting realistic targets, we turn the 'task' of exercising into a 'happy place.' You aren't just here to burn calories; you are here to learn how your body responds to exercise, from Zumba and Bhangra rhythms to high intensity HIIT circuits.
