When I design an entrance, it is not just about the look. I use grand, double-height doors and geometric marble flooring in the lobby to create an immediate shift in vibe the moment you step inside. It is the practical weight of those doors and the quality of the illumination that tell you, from the first second, that this is a well-built home.
The exterior is the first thing that tells you about the quality of what lies within. I do not believe in plain facades. My approach to the Victorian Classical elevations you see in these images involves a mix of deep mouldings, strong balustrades, and high-ceiling entrances that create a sense of scale.
While the aesthetic is classical, the core is modern and tough. I use RCC framed structures compliant with Seismic Zone 4, meaning that grand facade is built on a skeleton that is meant to last generations. The external finishes use high-quality, weather-resistant materials so that the grand look stays fresh despite the Gurgaon weather.
