Capturing Sacred Wedding Rituals in Noida
From pheras to the final Anand Karaj, I document every ritual with precision. Using low-light professional gear, I ensure these traditions are preserved without ever getting in the way.
A key moment from a Hindu wedding ceremony, as the couple performs the pheras around the sacred fire. I capture these rituals from angles that show the tradition and emotion.

About Sacred Ceremony Moments
When shooting a ceremony, the biggest challenge is lighting and movement. I bring prime lenses like my 50mm 1.8 to handle the dim lighting of a mandap or gurudwara while keeping the focus sharp on your expressions. My goal is to capture the ritual exactly as it happens, not by asking you to pose, but by finding the right angle at the right second.
Whether it is the fire of a Hindu wedding or the quiet reverence of a Sikh Anand Karaj, rituals move fast. I keep my gear light, usually the Canon R6, to move around quickly without being a distraction.
I know how important it is to get the details right. I focus on specific shots, like the havan kund, the placement of the mangalsutra, or the precise moment of the laavan. For indoor ceremonies in Noida or across Delhi NCR, I rely on my prime lenses to get a depth of field that keeps the focus on you and the ritual, while softening the background.
If you are worried about the photographer blocking the view, do not be. My team and I understand the flow of the ceremony. We position ourselves to get clean shots of the pheras or the Anand Karaj without ever obstructing your family or the priest. You get the story of the ceremony, from the anticipation at the start to the relief and joy once it is complete. I deliver these as part of my standard packages, focusing on a mix of wide shots to show the setting and close-ups to catch the raw emotion.
