The '100 Explorations' Project

This collection is my personal journey into the heart of clay. I experimented with foraged earth from Bali to Coorg, various firing atmospheres, and new surface treatments to create functional art that tells a story of place, material, and curiosity.

Atmospheric Firings: Wood, Soda & Saggar

I love the drama of atmospheric firing, where smoke and flame write their own stories on clay. This collection features pieces from wood, soda, and charcoal-saggar firings, each with unpredictable flame marks, smoky gradients, and ash-kissed surfaces that make them truly unique.

Kurinuki: Sculpting from Clay

Kurinuki is a traditional Japanese hand-building technique meaning 'to hollow or carve out'. I start with a solid block of clay and carve away, discovering the form as I go. This sculptural approach results in rustic, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate texture and imperfection.

Custom Commissions & Tableware

I create functional art for real life, from small-batch tableware for your morning chai to large orders of 300+ pieces for cafes and restaurants. Whether you have a specific idea or just a vibe, I enjoy working collaboratively to create ceramics with a story.

Signature Collections: Gul & Kolam

These collections are deeply personal, inspired by my love for floral artistry and cultural heritage. The 'Gul' collection features hand-painted floral motifs, while the 'Kolam' collection celebrates the intricate, ephemeral rice flour patterns of my childhood.

The Potter's Wheel: From Lump to Form

The wheel is where the magic begins. This is a look into my process of wheel-throwing, from centering the clay to pulling up the walls and shaping the final form. It's a physically demanding, meditative practice that requires focus, patience, and a deep connection to the material.

Neriage & Marbled Clay

Neriage is a Japanese technique that involves mixing and layering different colored clays to create mesmerizing marbled patterns. The design is not on the surface but runs through the entire piece. Each form reveals its unique pattern only when it's trimmed, making it a process of beautiful surprise.

Mastering the Craft: Teapots & Pour-Overs

Teapots are one of the most technically challenging forms to create, requiring a deep understanding of design, balance, and fluid dynamics. This is a look at my journey to master the perfect, drip-free pour, through research, trial, and error.

A Ware Studio: Workshops & Community

Teaching is a huge part of my work. I offer everything from one-day experiential workshops to an 8-month professional pottery course for those serious about building a creative livelihood. My studio is also a community space for makers to practice and grow together.

Behind the Scenes: My Studio & Process

A glimpse into my creative world. This is where the work happens: the quiet moments of reflection, the messy process of glazing and firing, and the constant learning and experimentation that fuels my practice. It's a look at the real, unglamorous, and deeply rewarding life of a potter.
