Meet the Yuntryodhās and the Yuntriksh—my explorations into Indian mythology, cybernetic evolution, and the strange new folklore of a future that is already here.

A black and white portrait of a 'wirehead', a man whose head is a chaotic mess of cables and machinery. This is a recurring character concept I use to explore the overwhelming nature of being constantly plugged in.

A close-up on the eyes of the 'wirehead'. The intense, grainy detail is meant to convey a sense of anxiety and data overload.

Another portrait of the 'wirehead', showing the crude and painful-looking integration of technology with the human form.

A female Yuntryodhā warrior, her body augmented with heavy mechanical arms. The Yuntryodhās are a race of warrior-engineers I created, dedicated to building a new universe.

A male Yuntryodhā in ornate armor, holding a glowing orb of energy. My goal with this series is to create a visual style that feels both ancient and highly advanced.

A side profile of a female Yuntryodhā, showcasing the detailed design of her cybernetic arm and headpiece. The fusion of traditional Indian attire with sci-fi hardware is central to this series.

A Yuntryodhā warrior armed with a large, telescope-like rifle and a complex backpack apparatus. This design emphasizes their role as both scientists and soldiers.

A Yuntryodhā with a unique headpiece resembling two vehicles. I enjoy exploring variations in their armor and technology, suggesting different roles within their society.

A 'Yuntriksh pilgrim' in a white ceremonial spacesuit with intricate carvings on the chest plate. This series imagines the spiritual and religious life of a space-faring Indian civilization.

A Yuntriksh pilgrim in a more ornate red and blue suit. The designs on the armor are inspired by traditional Indian art and architecture.

About Gods, Monsters & Cyborgs: Character Design

When I design a character like a Yuntryodhā, I don't start with a cool look. I start with a lore-heavy backstory, asking questions like what they eat, who they fear, and what machine-god they worship. This grounding is how I ensure your brand's AI assets do not just look striking, but actually tell a story that sticks.
