A client requested dessert candles, so we created these frappe candle samples. It took us five days to perfect the look, but the result is a candle that looks just like a delicious coffee drink, complete with whipped cream and coffee beans.
For Ganesh Chaturthi, if we don't make Modak candles, what do we even make? These sweet dumpling-shaped candles look so realistic that we have to remind guests not to eat them!
Our chocolate cake candles are for every sweet soul out there. These heart-shaped candles look just like a decadent slice of chocolate cake, making them a magical and sweet gift.
Inspired by the story of Krishna and his love for maakhan (butter), we created these Maakhan Matki candles for Janmashtami. The peacock feather detail makes them even more beautiful.
We love a challenge, and these iced coffee candles were definitely one! After many attempts, we perfected the technique to make them look just like a real glass of iced coffee. The coffee fragrance is sure to awaken your senses.

About A Treat for the Eyes: Our Food-Inspired Candles
The reality is, these take time. Sculpting a realistic Vada Pav or layering wax to look like a coffee frappe requires a lot of patience and trial-and-error to get right. Because we hand-pour every single piece in our Mumbai studio, I always suggest planning your order a few weeks ahead, especially if you have a specific theme or a large quantity in mind.
While the look is fun, the craft behind these candles is serious business. When we make our 'food' collection—like the viral Chai-Biscuit or the sushi sets—we aren't just pouring wax. We are color-matching, sculpting textures, and layering scents to make sure the experience is authentic.
We use 100% soy and soy-blend waxes, which means while they look like treats, they burn clean and slow. Whether you're planning a quirky wedding favor or a corporate gift that actually gets people talking, these pieces serve as a great conversation starter.
Since we handle everything in-house, we can customize the 'ingredients' too. Love the Sushi shape but want a Rose fragrance? Done. Need the Ladoos in a specific color palette for a festive hamper? We can do that. Our Mumbai team is mostly women, and we take pride in the fact that every detail, right down to the tiny coffee beans on a frappe candle, is finished by hand.
Common Questions:
- Do they smell like the food? Sometimes we match the scent—like our coffee-scented frappe candles—but we can also use classic fragrances like Vanilla or Sandalwood if you prefer.
- Are they just for display? They are fully functional candles, but most of our clients love them so much, they keep them as decor for months before finally lighting them.
- What about shipping? We pack these securely to ensure they reach you—or your guests—without a scratch, whether you're in Mumbai or shipping them abroad for a destination wedding.
