About this collection
My Karwa Chauth designs are built on the '3D Henna Touch' technique. I don't just draw patterns, I sketch your personal story—the sieve, the moon, and the couple portraits—using a triple-sifted, essential-oil-infused paste that ensures a deep stain. When you book me for this, we focus on the narrative on your palms, ensuring the figures have depth and the frame is perfectly balanced.
Karwa Chauth is a day where every detail counts, and your mehndi should reflect that. For my storytelling designs, I focus heavily on the frame, the architecture surrounding the central scene, to make the art stand out.
My Technique
I use a 3D shading method. Instead of flat lines, I use bold borders to create elevated floral motifs or figures. This is why my portraits of couples or traditional rituals look like they have depth.
Quality and Aftercare
It is not just about the design, the stain matters. I use premium Rajasthani Sojat henna, mixed with eucalyptus or clove oil. I finish every session with a lemon-sugar sealant spray. This prevents flaking and locks the color.
The Booking Process
Whether you want a full-palm narrative or a focused portrait, we will discuss the theme beforehand. For full storytelling work, I usually reserve a 45 to 60 minute slot per hand to ensure the portraits are sharp and the shading is smooth. Since these designs are intricate, I recommend booking at least a week before the festival, especially if you are in Delhi NCR, Rohtak, or nearby areas where I travel for home services.
A Quick Tip
Mehndi lagana hi nahi, bachana bhi zaroori hai! (Applying mehndi is not enough, you have to protect it too.) Once I apply the henna, avoid water for the first 8 to 10 hours to get that deep, long-lasting maroon color.
3D Henna Touch
I am Rihan Saifi. I have spent 15 years turning simple henna into art. Whether it is a tiny festival pattern or a full bridal portrait, my goal is always to bring that design to life on your skin.
