Who I Am
I jumped from architecture to baking with nothing but my two dogs watching me try and fail and try again. That old architect brain still helps when I’m sketching up ambitious, multi-tiered celebration cakes. I love a good challenge - if you want something wild or classic, I’m in.

My Approach
Only ingredients I’d eat myself. I spend ages on flavor, so the cake tastes as good as it looks. Favourites include:
- Heirloom chocolate cake recipe with hazelnut, caramel, or rich mousse
- Summer vanilla cake with blueberry compote and lemon curd
Design & Techniques
I use buttercream for clean finishes but switch to fondant when structure needs it - never too thick. Wafer paper cake decorations are my thing for abstract shapes and modern looks. I love making sugar flowers and tiny custom figurines for that personal touch.

My Story
I’m Uthishta, and honestly, I didn’t plan to be a baker. I started out in architecture, but baking snuck in and took over. My first cakes came out of my parents’ kitchen, with only Breezer and Max (my dogs) for company—plus Heera the cat, who made us all cat people. Those days were full of doubts, but also family recipes and a lot of lifting cakes! If you know me, you know my animal crew and my obsession with a good workout before the baking storm hits.
