A space where I share my heart through Carnatic kritis and soulful bhajans. These pieces, often accompanied by my flute, are my humble tribute to the musical traditions that raised me.

Celebrating Dasara with my rendition of the Carnatic kriti "Raghuvamsha Sudha". This is one of my favorite compositions, and it was a joy to record.

A photo from the recording of "Raghuvamsha Sudha". The peace I feel while singing classical music is something I cherish deeply.

A still from my music video for "mādhava māmava". This rendition is now available on my YouTube channel for you to listen to.

Another still from the "mādhava māmava" video. We filmed this outdoors to capture a sense of natural serenity that matches the song's devotional feel.

A short clip of my rendition of "mādhava māmava". This is one of my favorite devotional songs, and I hope you enjoy the full version on my YouTube channel.

"Saumya-Keshava", a hymn I composed and sang for the deity of Nagamangala. This piece combines my vocals with the flute, creating a prayer in melody.

My version of "Innashtu Bekennna Hrudayakke Rama" is now on YouTube. This devotional song is a plea for more of the divine in one's heart.

To mark 100k followers, I wanted to share something special. Here is my cover of "Govardhana Giridhara", a beautiful bhajan in praise of Lord Krishna.

Singing the beautiful devotional song "Shrikarane Shrinivasane". Kannada songs like these are truly timeless gems.

"Maate Poojaka Naanu", a patriotic song that feels like a prayer to the motherland. It speaks of bowing my head at her feet and working to make her name shine.

About Devotional & Classical Music

When I record these devotional pieces, I prefer to keep the production minimal. Whether it is a Carnatic kriti like 'Raghuvamsha Sudha' or a simple bhajan, I focus on blending my vocal layers with live flute to capture the raw, meditative quality that acoustic instruments provide.

Music is rarely just sound for me; it is a ritual. My foundation lies in Carnatic music, and returning to these traditional kritis is how I find my center. I do not just sing them; I arrange them, often weaving in my own flute melodies to create a soundscape that feels both ancient and personal.

My home studio setup allows me to treat these devotional recordings with the same care as my film projects. I use a large diaphragm condenser mic to capture the nuances of the flute and the breathiness of my vocals. For those looking for spiritual music for events or independent projects, I bring this exact approach to the table.

I can help select ragas that fit the mood of your occasion, perform live with acoustic accompaniment, or record high-fidelity tracks remotely. If you are looking for a rendition that respects the classical tradition while feeling intimate, let's discuss the raga and the intention behind your request.

I am Surabhi. My music is my way of connecting with my roots, and these devotional pieces are the most personal part of my journey. I find peace in the simplicity of a flute melody and the depth of a Kannada kriti, and I would love to bring that same soul to your project or event.
