My Story
We’re Abhinava Dance Company. Thirty years, and still, every step feels new. Our journey started with our Gurus, Maya Rao and Kumudini Lakhia – their words and passion, always with us. Family, friends, our art circle – couldn’t have done it without them. Dance is spiritual for us. Moments at Mantralaya, Belur Math, tears and bliss – all that gets poured into our art. When we dance, it’s like living those stories, feeling every emotion.

Classical Dance Performances - We perform Kathak and Bharathanatyam, solo, duet, group – bringing ancient epics alive on stage.
Choreography & Productions - Our choreographies are complete experiences, with music, costumes, and stories within stories.
