About My Journey: On The Road
When I play internationally, I do not just show up and plug in. I always insist on a pre-event tech walkthrough to ensure the sound system is calibrated for those deep Amapiano basslines. Whether it is a beach club or a wedding hall, getting the acoustics right before the first beat drops is how we make sure the energy stays at 100 percent.
Music has taken me everywhere, from the beaches of Phuket to the heart of Dubai and the streets of Nairobi. My journey is not just about the shows. It is about the connection. Every time I travel, I am picking up new rhythms and blending them into the AfroDesi mix. If you are looking to bring this energy to your event, here is how I approach it.
My process for destination gigs is rooted in preparation. I need to know the venue, the crowd, and what you are looking to achieve. We have an initial chat to nail down the vibe, whether you want that low tempo Chai Yard session or a high energy headliner set. For international bookings, please note that travel, flights, and accommodation are handled separately from my performance fee.
The sound I bring is built on fusion. Carnatic roots, Bollywood classics, and the bounce of Amapiano, all mixed live. I do not just play a playlist. I read the room and adapt the music to the energy I see in front of me. Whether it is a destination wedding in a ballroom or a club night in a city I have never visited, the goal is always to create a space where everyone feels the beat.
