Behind the Scenes: Lighting Rigging and Technical Execution
We handle the technical heavy lifting, from complex outdoor moonbox rigs to precision studio lighting grids, ensuring your production stays on schedule.

About Behind The Scenes: Craft & Execution
Creating a large-scale moonbox rig for 'Kishkindhapuri' involved far more than standard illumination. It required precise crane logistics and the integration of Creamsource Vortex 8 arrays to ensure the light remained atmospheric and natural across a massive outdoor footprint, all while we managed the DMX programming and complex power distribution on site.
When you step onto a set, the infrastructure supporting the vision is often invisible, yet it is the most critical element of the production. Our approach to behind-the-scenes execution begins long before the cameras roll. We analyze the script and location, then design the support structure—whether that involves flying truss for a studio shoot or orchestrating crane movements for a night exterior.
We do not just rent equipment; we manage the full-stack lighting environment. For the 'Limelight' project, this meant rigging Creamsource SpaceX fixtures in a grid pattern to achieve soft, even top light, requiring meticulous attention to cabling, weight limits, and rigging safety. Our technical crew handles the synchronization of intelligent lights, pixel mapping, and haze integration, allowing the Director and DOP to focus entirely on the frame.
We collaborate closely with your gaffers and camera teams during the pre-production phase to identify potential rigging challenges early. Whether it is a studio setup requiring complex power management or an outdoor location needing custom scaffolding, our team ensures the lighting grid is stable, safe, and ready to perform. We operate with the understanding that on a film set, time is the most expensive resource, and our job is to ensure the technical setup is flawless the moment you call 'action'.
