Stuck with a story idea but zero pages written? Let’s change that. We use humor, community sprints, and real accountability to help you stop overthinking and start typing today.

We've all been there. Here are six great ways to *not* write your book. This is our humorous take on the common habits of procrastination that every writer knows too well.

Procrastination method number one: Think about your book. Endlessly. In the shower, on walks, in bed. Basically, write the entire masterpiece in your head without ever typing a word.

Procrastination method number two: Talk about it. Tell everyone you meet that you're writing a book. At this point, you're practically a published author, right?

Procrastination method number three: Design the cover for the book that doesn't exist yet. It needs foil lettering, a moody font, and that undeniable bestseller energy.

Procrastination method number four: Plan your marketing strategy. Think about advance reader copies (ARCs), your bookstagram campaign, launch parties, and of course, the international book tour.

Procrastination method number five: Read books in your genre. You call it "research," but it's the twelfth book you've read this month, and your draft is still waiting.

Our First Draft Club is about building momentum. We encourage you to write faster than Rory Gilmore inhales a book on a Friday night. Just get the words down.

Channel your inner Lorelai Gilmore. Our program encourages you to write like you're on your fifth coffee of the day: full of energy, messy, and unstoppable.

We want you to focus on getting the story out. Aim to write dialogues that are as fast and witty as a Gilmore Girls' argument, without pausing to second-guess every word.

The mantra for our writing sprints is "Fast and furious." This means no editing while you write. The goal is pure, uninhibited creation to get your first draft completed.
