Stop waiting for inspiration and start building discipline. Join our 4-week intensive to turn your half-baked manuscript idea into a finished first draft.

Welcome to the First Draft Club, a dedicated space where writers write together. For four weeks, you'll join a community of peers, all showing up to chase their writing goals alongside you.

If you've been wishing for more time to write, we're here to show you that you already have it. It's not about waiting for inspiration; it's about building the discipline to write consistently, and we'll help you do just that.

The daily writing sprint is the engine of the First Draft Club. Every morning from 9 to 10 AM, we write together in a focused session led by me, Chetan Mahajan, with other sprints organized by the community.

The goal is to move your story from your head to the page. By committing to the daily sprints and the structured process, your draft will stop being a vague idea and become a tangible manuscript.

We understand that feeling of being stuck. When deadlines and self-pressure don't work, a supportive structure is what you need to break through the block and make writing feel possible again.

Is your draft gathering digital dust? This program is designed to breathe life back into that half-written, half-baked project and give you the momentum to see it through to the end.

The most powerful tool against writer's block is knowing you're not alone. Our community ensures you are always writing with support, not in isolation.

Your commitment to writing also supports a great cause. A minimum donation of INR 950 secures your spot and contributes to the Chirag School, an NGO-run school in the Himalayas.

About The First Draft Club: Your 4-Week Writing System

Writing isn't about finding extra hours; it’s about protecting the ones you have. In this cohort, you commit to daily 9-10 AM IST Zoom sprints. It is not a lecture or a class—it is a silent, focused environment where you show up and write alongside 100 other people. When the screen turns on, you stop editing, stop overthinking, and simply start producing.
