Join me in the wild to track the dynasties of Kabini and Bandipur, where we go beyond simple sightings to witness the living, breathing history of these forests.

The Nayanjikatte Male, a legendary tiger who once dominated Kabini. I tracked his rise and fall, a story of a doting father and a fierce warrior. His legacy continues through his daughter, who now rules a part of this forest.

The new king of Bandipur, Karadi Male, scent-marking his territory. After the previous monarch's death, the forest fell silent until this bold bear-slayer arrived, restoring its glory. Watching his story unfold is what makes these safaris so special.

This is Cleopatra, a leopardess who was the heartbeat of Kabini. Her pale green eyes and commanding presence were unforgettable. On my tours, we don't just look for animals; we seek out the legends that define the forest.

An unforgettable winter morning in Kabini. A punctured tire delayed our start, but fate had a plan. We first saw a tiger, and then, as if summoned by magic, this elusive black leopard emerged from the shadows.

A tigress named Sundari on a monsoon morning in Bandipur. We didn't chase her; we anticipated her path and positioned our vehicle for the perfect eye-level shot. This is the essence of a guided photo safari: using experience to create opportunity.

A young leopardess in Kabini, framed by dancing blue tiger butterflies. The monsoon brings out a surreal beauty, where every moment feels like a scene from a fairytale. These are the poetic visuals we aim to capture.

A rare standoff between a young tiger and a family of otters in the backwaters of Kabini. The otters, bold and united, actually chased the tiger out of the water. It's a perfect example of the unexpected drama the jungle offers.

Sibling rivalry, tiger style. These two cubs in Kabini turned a tree into their personal wrestling ring. The moments behind the perfect shot are often filled with this kind of playful, wild energy.

A leopard draped across a branch during the Kabini monsoon. The misty green backdrop creates a dreamlike atmosphere, perfect for capturing the serene moments of these elusive cats.

Another view of a leopard relaxing in the lush canopy of Kabini. The monsoon season provides a unique, soft light that is ideal for creating moody and atmospheric wildlife portraits.

About The Legends of Kabini & Bandipur

I do not just chase sightings. I teach you how to read the forest, anticipate where a tiger like Karadi Male might scent-mark, and position our vehicle for that perfect, eye-level frame before the animal even emerges from the brush.

My safaris are built on 15 years of living in the jungle. I know these forests intimately, and my tours are designed for those who want to move past casual viewing and get serious about their craft.

In Kabini, we focus on the elusive black leopard and the descendants of the legendary Russel line. It is a land of backwaters and shifting light. Bandipur, by contrast, offers a different raw energy. It is where I track the current monarchs like Karadi Male, a bear-slayer whose story defines the modern history of the park.

Logistics are critical for photography. I limit my vehicles to a maximum of 4 guests. This is non-negotiable. It ensures every person has a clear, unobstructed angle when a tiger steps onto the road or a leopard descends from a tree. We do not rush. We wait.

We cover the technical aspects as well. If you are struggling with settings, composition, or how to tell a story through a single frame, I am there to guide you. Whether it is capturing the early morning mist over the Kabini reservoir or following a monsoon chase in Bandipur, the goal is to capture the drama of the wild ethically, keeping the animal's comfort as the priority.

If you are coming for the experience, come prepared to wait, watch, and learn.
