Community and Family Plantation Drives
We organize plantation drives that bring together people from all walks of life to restore our local ecosystems, one sapling at a time. Get your hands dirty and plant a future with your community.
I was honored to be the Chief Guest at an event with the Sant Nirankari Charitable Trust in Pune. Their "Oneness Vann" project is a great example of community-led afforestation.
A young girl carefully inspects a newly planted sapling at the "Oneness Vann" project. Involving children ensures the legacy of these green spaces will continue.
Members of the Sant Nirankari community and forest officials plant saplings side-by-side. This collaboration between citizens and government is key to successful conservation.
A powerful image of the entire village community gathered for the plantation event in Pune. This shows the incredible mobilizing power of community-led environmental action.
On Rakshabandhan, we extend the promise of protection to the trees that nurture us. Here, a volunteer ties a thread to a tree, symbolizing a bond of care and respect.
"We protect the people we love. It's time to protect the planet we live on." This Vriksha Bandhan message captures the spirit of our campaign to connect festivals with nature.
Volunteers at Jaunapur City Forest get their hands dirty. Our open volunteer drives bring together people from all walks of life with a shared passion for nature.
Our team member guides a volunteer on how to properly support a young sapling with a stake. We ensure everyone learns the right techniques.
A volunteer gently firms the soil around a new plant. Every tree planted during these drives is a step towards a healthier city forest.
Our team is always on hand to provide guidance and share knowledge during our community plantation drives.
About Community & Family Plantation Drives
When you join us for a plantation drive, do not expect a polished or manicured event. You will be digging holes, clearing weeds, and sweating alongside our team. We provide the saplings and the tools, but you bring the energy and the intent to really connect with the soil. It is not just about planting; it is about learning how to nurture a sapling so it survives the season.
Nature is the best teacher, and there is no better classroom than an open field. At our community drives, we do not just plant trees and walk away. We show you how to prepare the soil, how to set the sapling, and why native species like Peepal, Barna, and Pilkhan are vital for restoring local biodiversity.
These sessions are perfect for families looking to spend a weekend doing something meaningful rather than sitting at a mall. You will see how an urban forest comes together, from the initial fencing and weeding to the care required in the first few months. We have worked with schools, corporate teams, and families across Delhi NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned gardener, there is a place for you here. We aim to create 'Paryavaran Rakshaks', or environment protectors, who are emotionally invested in the health of our planet because they have felt the soil in their own hands.
Give Me Trees Trust
I started this journey because I believe nature knows how to heal itself if we just stop interfering. My team and I are here to help you get your hands dirty and build a real connection with the environment, whether you are a family, a group of students, or a corporate team.
