Dr. Kavish Chouhan: Media Features & Behind-the-Scenes
Beyond the consultation room, I believe in actively sharing knowledge and connecting with the global hair restoration community. Here is a look at my work with the media and my involvement in advancing techniques with colleagues worldwide.
A great discussion with my colleague Dr. Anil Ganjoo on the increasing awareness of hair care. We talked about why the younger generation is experiencing hair fall earlier and the effective treatment options now available.
A recap of 2024, a year filled with wonderful memories and accomplishments, from live surgery demonstrations to moderating panels at global conferences. Looking forward to new challenges.
Giving interviews to the press in Assam about the introduction of advanced hair transplant techniques, like Long Hair FUE, to the North East region for the first time.
A candid moment with a junior colleague after a paper presentation. Mentoring the next generation of dermatologists is something I am very passionate about.
After intense academics, it's time for fun. Candid shots from the gala dinner at the 1st FUE Global Meeting in Cyprus, networking with friends and colleagues from around the world.

About In The Media & Behind the Scenes
When I am not in the clinic, I am usually working with fellow doctors at workshops or conferences like the FUE Global meetings. I strongly believe that for the field of hair restoration to evolve, knowledge cannot be kept behind closed doors. Whether it is discussing Long Hair FUE techniques in Assam or moderating panels in Cyprus, these interactions help me refine my own skills, which directly translates to better outcomes for my patients in Delhi.
You might wonder why a surgeon spends so much time away from the OT, training others or appearing in media. The answer is simple: hair transplant surgery is a field that is constantly changing. If you stop learning, you stop growing. My involvement with FUEAsia and KSK Surgicals is not just about prestige. It is about setting a standard. When I teach a doctor in Bangkok or Jakarta how to handle advanced Long Hair FUE, I am also refining my own technique.
Why This Matters for You
Patients often ask if a hair transplant is a permanent fix. My answer is always the same: transplanted hair stays, but you must maintain your existing hair. This honest approach, which I discuss openly in media interviews and conferences, is the foundation of my practice. You deserve a clear, medical perspective, not a sales pitch. Whether I am talking to the press about the rise of hair loss in younger generations or demonstrating live surgery to delegates from over 40 countries, my goal remains the same: to strip away the myths and focus on the science.
Advancing the Field
From regenerative therapies like G-Cell (SVF) to perfecting hairline design, I bring the latest global trends back to my clinic in Lajpat Nagar. When you come to me for a consultation, you are not just getting a procedure. You are getting the benefit of techniques vetted at international congresses and a commitment to surgical excellence that we practice daily with our team. This is about building confidence through science and proper care.
