About Ride Chronicles: Daily Dispatches
You won't find polished travel vlogs here. These dispatches are what we record at the end of 12-hour ride days when we are exhausted, dealing with altitude sickness, or patching a puncture in the middle of nowhere.
Think of this as the raw log of our Himalayan tours. We do not sugarcoat the experience because the real ride is not just about the scenic views. It is about the 25 water crossings before lunch, managing bike maintenance like tire changes and bearing replacements on the fly, and navigating sand or slush when your gear is soaking wet. We document the mechanical reality, like switching to off-road tires in Delhi or dealing with fuel shortages near Kaza, so you know exactly what a 6,000 km endurance ride entails. This is where we discuss the logistics of no-backup-vehicle trips: where we stay, how we manage altitude sickness, and why formation riding saves lives on roads like the Spiti circuit.
