This video tells our whole story. It started with Dadi getting bored during lockdown and has grown into a beautiful community, all thanks to your love and support. We are so grateful to be able to empower so many other grannies through this journey.

About Our Story: The Dadi-Poti Magic
When you place an order, you are not just picking a color. You are starting a conversation with us. Each piece is hand-crocheted by a specific grandmother in our network, and that means things take a little longer than factory speed. We do not rush the process because a piece made with proper chai breaks and patience feels different when you wear it.
How Our Story Unfolded
It all began during the first lockdown when my Dadi was getting bored at home and missing her trips to the mandir. She picked up her crochet hook, started weaving cushion covers and mufflers, and we posted them online just to share her joy. The response was incredible. Within a year, we had so many orders that I knew we needed help.
We put out a call for other dadis and nanis who wanted to weave, and suddenly, we were a team. Today, we are a community of skilled grandmothers from all over India, keeping a traditional craft alive and supporting each other.
Why Handmade Matters
When you buy from us, you are not getting something mass-produced by a machine. You are getting:
