Each cape or jacket in this collection starts with the fabric. I prioritize materials like Silk Dupion, Tulle Mesh, and heavy-weight Organza, which naturally hold the shape required for architectural capes. To maintain this silhouette throughout the day, we apply canvas fusing to collars and lapels. This prevents the fabric from drooping, ensuring the jacket retains its sharp, standing shape even after hours of wear.

Hand-Embellished Details

My approach to embellishment is focused on anchoring rather than simply attaching. Whether it involves mirror work or delicate pearl tassels, these elements are secured with embroidery stitching to ensure longevity. We utilize a butter-crepe or Shantoon lining throughout the inner layers of the jackets and crop tops, which prevents the embroidery from scratching the skin, allowing for total comfort without compromising on the dramatic aesthetic.

The Custom Journey

Creating an ensemble that fits correctly is my priority. For these sets, we conduct two rounds of fittings: an initial shell trial to map your measurements and a final finishing trial. This process ensures the YKK concealed zippers, hook-and-eye safety mechanisms, and internal bra-strap loops are positioned exactly where you need them for a secure, zero-gap fit.
