This is a unique oil on canvas from M. F. Husain's celebrated Rajasthan Series, created in the 1960s. The master artist uses thick impasto to build texture, depicting two peacocks in a rustic village scene, capturing the raw, folk energy he was known for. It is a powerful example of Modern Indian Art from one of its most important figures.

A beautiful pair of hand-painted baluster-shaped vases from the late Victorian period. Made of soft mint green Opaline glass, they feature delicate iris flowers, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of 19th-century European decorative arts. These pieces came to us from the distinguished collection of Meena Appachu.

We are proud to showcase this rare, museum-quality Jain narrative scroll from the late 18th century. This 17-foot-long 'Vintee Patrika' was a ceremonial invitation, painstakingly hand-painted with natural dyes. It depicts the fourteen auspicious dreams of Queen Trishla, mother of Lord Mahavir, a true masterpiece of Indian miniature painting.

This tempera on card, 'Mother & Child' by Jamini Roy, is a timeless piece from our auction archives. As one of India's National Art Treasures, Roy's work is defined by its bold lines and folk-art inspiration, drawn from the Kalighat style. This particular work beautifully captures the eternal bond between a mother and her child.

This magnificent stone stele of Gautam Buddha from 8th century North India is a testament to the rich history of ancient Indian sculpture. The Buddha is depicted seated in 'dhyanasana' with his hands in the 'dharmachakra' mudra, conveying a serene expression. The intricate details, from the scrolling nimbus to the worshippers on the throne, highlight its historical and artistic importance.

A stunning example of traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship, this double-sided 'Kundan' and enamel pendant is shaped like a peacock. The piece is studded with Polki diamonds and strung with five lines of sapphire cut-beads and pearls. The video showcases the iridescent colours and intricate enamel work on both sides of the pendant.
