At BIA, education extends beyond textbooks. We integrate India's diverse festivals and national pride into our daily life to help students stay connected to their roots.

The spirit of Onam comes alive as our teachers and students collaborate to create intricate and colorful Pookalams (flower rangolis), a beautiful tradition celebrating harvest and unity.

Our youngest students celebrate Onam with joy, dressed in traditional attire and gathered around a beautiful Pookalam. These celebrations help instill cultural pride from an early age.

Students sit in a circle around a vibrant Pookalam they helped create, celebrating the festival of Onam with a sense of community and artistic achievement.

Small groups of our preschool students pose for photos during the Onam festivities, their colorful traditional outfits brightening up the celebration.

Boys and girls from our early years program celebrate Onam, showcasing the beautiful diversity of traditional Indian clothing.

Students engage in Onam-themed activities, from creating small flower rangolis on the floor to drawing pictures of the iconic snake boats.

Students proudly display their Onam-themed drawings in the classroom, learning about the cultural significance of the festival through art.

A class of students celebrates Onam with handmade crafts, including Kathakali masks, connecting with the artistic traditions of Kerala.

Our shining stars celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights, with creative craft activities. They made beautiful paper diyas and other festive decorations, embracing the spirit of joy and artistic expression.

Our campus was buzzing with excitement during the Diwali Mela. This video captures the festive stalls, games, and joyful moments that brought our school community together to celebrate.

About Cultural & National Celebrations

At BIA, we believe festivals are for participating, not just watching. Whether our students are collaboratively designing intricate Pookalams for Onam or creating paper diyas for Diwali, the goal is active involvement. This hands-on approach helps children connect with our cultural and artistic traditions, turning each celebration into a lesson in creativity and teamwork.
