Museum of Art & Photography (MAP): A Cultural Landmark for Bengaluru

We designed MAP as more than a building; it's a 'tanki' for art, inspired by the post-industrial water tanks of old Bangalore. The design plays on the tension between storing and showcasing culture, using a compact steel-framed structure and a distinctive stainless-steel-clad facade to create a new, accessible hub for art and community engagement.

Reimagining Heritage: Conservation & Adaptive Reuse

We believe history matters, and our work seeks to keep the memory of a place alive. We approach heritage sites not as relics to be frozen, but as living structures to be given a new role, carefully weaving new functions and contemporary design into their historic fabric.

Spaces for People: Public Parks & Social Hubs

We strive to create public spaces that are truly democratic and invite people to stay, think, or just breathe. From turning a former jail into a city park to designing large commercial venues as vibrant social hubs, our focus is on fostering community and connection.

Design for Remembrance: Memorial Architecture

For us, a memorial is not about grand gestures, but about creating a reflective space that holds memory and allows for introspection. We work with the scars of a site, making tragedy visible while planting seeds of hope and healing.

From Sketch to Structure: Our Design Process

Our process is a slow, thoughtful dialogue between an idea and its material form. We begin by listening to a site's stories, translating them into sketches and models, and then carefully overseeing the construction, where the human energy of craft brings the vision to life.

Our Voice: Press, Publications & Awards

Our work is a dialogue with the larger community, and we are grateful when our projects are recognized and featured in publications. This is a collection of articles, awards, and speaking engagements that have helped share our design philosophy and the stories behind our buildings.

Additional Works & Explorations

This collection includes a range of other projects, from private homes to early conceptual work. These explorations, some built and some unbuilt, are all part of our ongoing inquiry into how architecture can shape space and experience.
