About Mat Pilates
Why I Practice Mat Pilates
For me, Mat Pilates is all about finding sukoon (deep peace) by moving with intention. It’s not just fitness - I see it as building strength from the inside out. We work on core stability, but honestly, it’s also a mental reset every time.
What to Expect
I keep things simple. No fancy gear, just your mat and your body. Every class is a mix of moves that target those small, deep muscles most people forget about. We link breath with movement, and yeah, sometimes it’s tough, but it’s always low-impact. If you’re tired of sitting all day or want to improve posture at home, you’ll probably vibe with this.
My Approach
We go ahista, ahista (slowly, slowly), paying attention to form over speed. Some days you’ll feel strong, other days not so much - that’s normal. I believe in progress, not perfection. My classes are live online so I can guide you, see your form, and help you get the most out of every session.
The Way We Practice
Ahimsa (non-violence) is my core value. No forcing, no pushing past pain. We listen to our bodies and show shukrana (gratitude) for whatever they can do that day. This kind of gentle Pilates for beginners and beyond is about building strength that lasts, on and off the mat.

My Story
I am always learning, even as a certified Yoga teacher. Yoga for me? Not just fancy poses, but finding sukoon (peace) in the mind. I believe in 'Ahista, Ahista' - slow and steady, small wins, no rush. Classical Hatha Yoga is my jam, rooted in tradition and balance. As a Punjabi girl, I love sharing this with my Bangalore folks and online. Whether adults or kids, it’s all about living better, with shukrana (gratitude) in every breath.
