In the Halls of Justice: A Lawyer's Life
Courtroom dramas aren't just for movies. Here is a glimpse into my daily life representing clients across Delhi’s courts—from the High Court to various district complexes.
Standing outside the Supreme Court of India. This is where the highest legal battles are fought, and being here reminds me that justice isn't given, it's fought for.

About In the Halls of Justice: A Lawyer's Life
People often ask me what happens inside court, expecting intense movie scenes. The reality is hours of patience, waiting for your turn in the cause list, and knowing exactly when to present your arguments. Whether we are at the Delhi High Court, Tis Hazari, or Saket, every hearing is a chance to move your case forward, provided your strategy is solid and your documentation is prepared before you walk through those gates.
What Happens Inside the Courtroom
When you see these photos of me at the Delhi High Court or Karkardooma, it represents the 'hustle' of legal practice. Many clients believe that appearing in court means making dramatic statements, but successful litigation is actually 90% preparation and 10% presentation.
The Reality of Litigation
- Documentation is Key: Before I even step into the courtroom at Dwarka or Rohini, my file is ready with every evidence piece sorted—WhatsApp chats, bank records, and affidavits. If you are unprepared, the judge will not entertain you.
- The Waiting Game: Court proceedings in Delhi are busy. You must be ready to wait for your case to be called. This time is often used to coordinate with clerks, finalize arguments, or manage last-minute procedural filings.
- Strategy Over Emotion: While matrimonial and property cases are emotional, my job is to filter those emotions into legal strategy. Whether it is a contested divorce filing or a bail application, I focus on the facts the judge needs to hear.
Why Local Experience Matters
I have built my practice by understanding the pulse of Delhi’s legal system. Each court, from the Supreme Court to the local District Courts, has its own rhythm. Knowing how to navigate these systems—how to handle registry objections, how to manage summons, and how to communicate with the court staff—is what helps speed up your case. If you have questions about a pending case or need to start a new one, let’s discuss the strategy.
