Whether we're counting beats - ek do - or chasing the story behind a move, I want everyone to feel they can push boundaries and explore new ideas together.
What’s On Offer
- We keep things fresh with a mix of contemporary dance intensives, Indian classical dance masterclass sessions (think: Kathak, Bharatanatyam), and fusion dance workshop formats for anyone itching to try something offbeat.
- Contemporary sessions focus on improvisation, breath, and flow - perfect for those who love modern movement.
- Classical masterclasses go deep into Gharanas, Riyaz, and Abhinaya. Heads up, these can get intense and are best if you have some background already.
- Fusion and experimental workshops get wild: past ones included Combat Dance and Tribal Fusion Bellydance.

Community Practice: Adavu Loka
If you’re into Bharatanatyam, Adavu Loka is our chill hangout for working on Adavus together. No pressure, just focused practice, honest feedback, and a lot of laughs.

Abstratics
My Story
Hey, we’re Abstratics. Been at this for 11 years now, all about dance, community, and making a real home for movers. We started things like Canvas Dance Festival and SparkLights so dancers get their own stage, not just a classroom. Our style? We mix contemporary freedom with Bharatanatyam storytelling, like in Tatsama Tadbhava. Every show, every class—big thanks to everyone who’s danced with us. It’s been quite a ride, and we’re still grooving.
My Work
