About Religious Waste Management

Religious Waste Management

We specialize in eco-friendly disposal of religious offerings through our "Pavitra Pushp Visarjan" initiative. We collect flowers and other ritual items, transforming them into compost and useful products instead of letting them pollute water bodies.

Our Unique Approach

  • Systematic collection system for temples and households
  • Scientific composting techniques
  • Creation of natural products from waste

Ideal For

Religious institutions, event organizers, and environmentally conscious devotees looking for sustainable ways to dispose of ritual offerings.

Additional Features

We provide educational workshops to help communities understand the environmental impact of religious waste and teach sustainable disposal practices.

My Story

Our journey kicked off when I became a mom and started worrying about what kind of world my kid would inherit. Money’s one thing, but clean water and air? That’s real wealth. Sargam once found jeans and shoes dumped in a forest – crazy, right? That’s when Purana Baksa happened. We’re just a bunch of volunteers, moms, students, regular folks. We mess up sometimes, but we keep trying. Third Sunday, every month, we show up for our city and our kids.

My Work

What we do - We run workshops, thrift drives, sacred flower composting, cleanup events, and eco-challenges for kids.

Pavitra Pushp Visarjan - We turn puja flowers into compost, room fresheners, even skin toners. No more festival guilt!

Purana Baksa Thrift Drives - Declutter before Diwali! Donate unused stuff, we sell it cheap and fund cleanup drives. Eco-friendly decluttering.

Workshops & Awareness - Our sessions are hands-on and lively. We show how to compost and be a 'Planet Protector.'

Urban Bliss Cleanup Drives - Join us for plogging and cleanup at spots like Leopard Trail. Good for nature, good for the soul.
