About Kids Yoga Classes

I see yoga as a way for kids to discover themselves, not just twist into shapes. It’s about the fun of trying, falling, and getting back up. I always tell my students, "Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection." That’s the vibe in my classes.

What Kids Get Out of My Classes

  • Confidence and resilience - nothing beats the smile when a child finally nails a pose after a few tries.
  • Flexibility and body awareness - we do gentle backbends, forward bends, and other basics so kids learn what their bodies can do, safely.

  • Focus and calm - yoga isn’t just about standing on one leg, it’s about finding balance in life too. Like I say, "Yog se jeevan me sthirta" (Yoga brings stability to life).

  • We play a lot. Yoga games for children keep things lively and help kids learn without even realizing it.
  • I’m patient. Every child learns at their own pace, and I celebrate effort as much as results.

My Story

Hi, I’m Urmila. I still surprise myself with the strength and balance yoga gives me, even after 30! Yoga’s not just a workout for me - it’s life, it’s everywhere I go, from parks to Mahankal lok.
