Our Mission for Mental Wellness
We are Jack and Nathan. We started this project to turn our darkest moments into a path forward, and we are here to make sure you never have to walk through yours by yourself.
This is our story and why we started The Mindful Project. After losing a close friend, we knew we had to do something to combat the silence around mental health. This video explains our mission: to spread mindfulness, fund free mental health services, and build a supportive community where no one feels alone. We're so glad you're here.
We made this video so you could send it to someone who brings light into your life. It’s a direct message of appreciation, reminding them of the joy and kindness they bring to the world just by being themselves. A small act of recognition can make a huge difference in someone's day.
It's easy to get caught thinking that the past was better, but we believe hope is found in looking forward. This video contrasts the feeling of being stuck in nostalgia with the promise that better days are ahead. We want to help shift that focus toward a future filled with possibility and healing.
We find creative ways to leave messages of hope where people can see them, like this note on a stop sign. It’s a simple but powerful reminder to stop seeking happiness in situations or relationships that have caused you pain. True healing begins when you decide to move forward and create a new path.
Sometimes the simplest question is the most powerful. We created this to check in with you and create a space where you can honestly share how you're feeling. In our community, you don't have to pretend you're okay if you're not.
Here is one of our "quote of the day" videos, where we share a thought about the nature of life. This one uses the analogy of seasons to explain that difficult periods, like cold winters, are temporary. It’s a message of patience and hope, reminding you that spring will eventually come.
We often hear "you are what you eat," but we believe that applies to more than just food. This video talks about being mindful of the content you consume, from social media to the music you listen to. Protecting your mental space is a key part of self-care and maintaining a positive mindset.
About Featured
Every video you see here goes back to our core mission: using the proceeds from our platform to directly sponsor therapy sessions for those who need them most. When you engage with our content, you are not just consuming media; you are helping us fund real mental health access for individuals who cannot afford it.
We know silence can be loud. After losing a close friend to mental illness, we realized that traditional pathways for help are often out of reach for many. We built The Mindful Project to bridge that gap. We are not therapists; we are two guys who have been in the trenches of mental struggle and came out the other side. This space is where we share real, unpolished reminders that you matter.
Our work spans from placing 'Signs of Hope' in public parks to help strangers find a moment of peace, to sharing daily content that challenges the negative self-talk we all face. Whether it is a quote of the day to help you navigate a tough season or a skit designed to shift your perspective on a bad day, everything here is built on our own lived experience.
We believe that community is the strongest medicine. That is why we keep our comments open for you to share, vent, or read stories from others who understand what you are going through. We are here to offer a hand, not just content, so if you are looking for support or just need to know that someone is listening, we are here.
