Doctor Consultation & Pulse Diagnosis
Medical Assessment
- Duration: 20 to 30 Minutes.
- Diagnostic Method: Traditional Nadi Pariksha (Pulse Diagnosis) to determine body constitution (Prakriti) and current imbalances.
- Physical Exam: Range of motion, swelling, and stiffness checks on affected areas.
Prescription & Plan
- Treatment Roadmap: Custom plan for external therapies (like Basti or Potli) based on diagnosis.
- Lifestyle Guide: Dietary advice (Pathya/Apathya) and lifestyle adjustments for pain management.
- Note: Internal herbal medicines are prescribed if needed but charged separately.
Full Body Abhyanga Massage & Herbal Steam
Core Therapy
- Total Duration: 60 to 75 Minutes (45 min massage + 15 min steam).
- Oil Type: Application of Vata pacifying or pain relieving oils (e.g., Mahanarayana or Dhanwantharam) selected based on body type.
- Technique: Rhythmic long strokes (Abhyanga) covering the whole body with specific focus on vital energy points (Marma) and circular joint movements.
- Swedana: 10 to 15 minute session in a wooden steam box with herbal vapors.

- Room: Private therapy room with attached shower access.
- Amenities: Herbal body wash or gram flour to remove oil, shampoo, fresh towels, and post therapy herbal tea.
Localized Oil Pooling (Kati/Greeva/Janu Basti)
Core Therapy
- Duration: 45 to 60 Minutes total service time.
- Target Areas: Specific focus on Lower Back (Kati), Neck (Greeva), or Knees (Janu).
- Process: Construction of a leak proof herbal dough ring over the pain point.
- Oil Treatment: Continuous pouring and sponging of warm herbal oil (maintained at 38°C to 42°C) inside the ring for deep absorption.
- Finish: Gentle localized massage after oil removal to improve circulation.
Ambience
- Setting: Private room with traditional wooden massage table (Droni).
- Hygiene: Usage of disposable sheets and sterilized copper/brass vessels.
- Post Care: Hot towel wipe down of the treated area.
Potli Massage (Pinda Sweda)
Core Therapy
- Duration: 60 to 75 Minutes.
- Preparation: Freshly made therapeutic boluses (Potlis) containing herbal leaves, medicated rice, or powders depending on the condition.
- Method: Potlis are dipped in hot medicated oil or milk and rhythmically pounded on the body to generate therapeutic heat.
- Focus: Intensive application on affected joints (knees, spine, shoulders) to reduce inflammation.
Facilities
- Recovery: 5 to 10 minute post therapy rest period.
- Bath: Hot water shower facility with Ayurvedic soaps provided to remove heavy oil or paste residue.
Nasya Therapy (Sinus & Migraine Care)
Core Therapy
- Duration: 30 to 40 Minutes.
- Prep: Vigorous massage of the face, neck, and shoulders (Mukha Abhyanga) to stimulate blood flow.
- Steam: Localized facial steam to loosen mucus and open channels.
- Procedure: Instillation of controlled drops of medicated oil (e.g., Anu Taila) into the nostrils.
- Post Care: Gentle gargling with warm water and medicated smoke inhalation (Dhoomapana) if required.
- Indications: Specifically for Cervical Spondylosis, Sinusitis, and chronic headaches.

- For chronic or stubborn pain, I might suggest Panchakarma detox therapies.
- I also include gentle stretches or yoga and simple diet tweaks if needed.
