My Story

We’re Repair Cafe Collective – not just one person, but a whole mix of teachers, techies, artists, parents, and more. We got tired of seeing stuff tossed out, so we started saying 'Don't throw, FIX.' Now, we run Repair Cafes across India – Mumbai, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, shouting 'Repair Maadi!' (Do the repair!). The best part? Watching folks light up when they fix their old toy or grandma’s skirt. It’s messy, fun, and all about connecting. Everyone’s welcome.

My Work

DIY Repair Workshops & Tinker Kinder - We host DIY repair workshops and Tinker Kinder sessions for kids, teaching hands-on fixing skills.

Community Repair Cafes - Bring your broken stuff – toys, clothes, gadgets – and our mentors help you repair it yourself.

Learning & Experimenting - No judgment here. We learn together, try, fail, and sometimes things stay broken. That’s okay too.

Skills You’ll Pick Up - From bicycle maintenance basics to laptop troubleshooting and stitching, you’ll surprise yourself.

Culture of Care - We run Repair Walks, advocate for right to repair, refurbish wheelchairs, and create storybooks for kids.
